In October, our shoe modeler Sonja Arians took part in a certificate course to become a sustainability manager for the shoe, leather goods and textile industry at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and successfully completed the course.

This course comprised 80 hours of instruction and was conducted in cooperation with the ISC International Shoe Competence Center Pirmasens gGmbH.

The course covered international conventions and legal frameworks for sustainability. Transparency and management of global supply chains. Risk management for social standards, environmental protection and toxicology. Sustainability strategy and communication.
